The Dallas Cowboys appear to be at a crossroads. They seem like a team capable of winning the Super Bowl, but key pieces like their quarterback are getting along in age and running out of time. One good off-season might be the difference between championship and rebuild. Here is their latest 2016 mock draft. How do they fare?

1st Round

123. There may be bigger needs for the Cowboys to address, but they aren’t stupid. If Joey Bosa is there at #4, it will be beyond difficult to pass on him. He’s the best pass rusher in this class by a fair margin and he an ideal fit as a 4-3 defensive end, the same scheme Rod Marinelli likes to run. It would be a glove-like fit of player and coach.

Best of all, this would give Dallas the validation they’re seeking to end the Greg Hardy experiment. While the intention of improving their defensive with a former Pro Bowl pass rusher were good, the fact is Hardy lived up to his reputation as a selfish, erratic personality off-the-field. Word is they plan not to re-sign him when he becomes a free agent. Like it or not, that leaves a hold up front they have to fill. Bosa would be a dream come true in that scenario.
.
