Oregon. DeForest Buckner. 7. player. 15.
Mickey Loomis has always been a GM who believes strongly that great offenses and defenses are built in the trenches.Β It proved true when his team won the Super Bowl back in 2009 and now he looks to continue that trend.Β His defense is in sore need of help up front, so he makes a move up the board to grab the best 3-4 defensive end in the entire class.

DeForest Buckner has that prototypical size at 6-foot-7 with outstanding length.Β To date his game has been about using that length, along with a solid power base to prevent opponents from running the ball anywhere in his direction.Β However, this has masked his quickness and natural burst, which if properly developed can turn him into a capable pass rusher to pair with Cameron Jordan and Hau’oli Kikaha.
.
