60. player. 47.
The run of receivers that Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have taken in the second round can look pretty ugly at times, but that doesn’t mean they should be gun shy about continuing to take shots. They’re bound to hit on one eventually. Sterling Shepard could be that one. Watching him play, from the shorter size to the speed and athleticism and ability to run precise routes will remind a lot of teams of Tyler Lockett, the breakout star in Seattle. Also doesn’t drop passes, a must for Tom Brady.
. WR. Oklahoma. Sterling Shepard

32.
Up until now the success of the Arizona passing game has centered on a collection of talented wide receivers. That didn’t seem to do them much good in Carolina, so they have to think about finding a way to broaden how they can attack defenses. Finding a capable pass catching tight end would be one. Nick Vannett didn’t show it much at Ohio State, but the limited tape revealed a big player with the athleticism and hands to threaten defenses down the middle. Throw in some steady blocking ability and this can turn into a great pick.
. TE. Ohio State. Nick Vannett. 61. player
