Eli Apple. 25. player. 55.
The front seven appears set for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lots of speed and playmaking ability. Now they must shift their focus towards improving their secondary. It was a problem quite often over the course of the season and they stand to lose a number of their personnel to free agency. Adding a young corner would be the logical choice to keep the progress going.

Eli Apple is just the sort of player for them. He’s big, but a good athlete who can match up with various types of receivers in man coverage and hold his own. Toughness and strength allow him to attack ball carriers rather than simply chasing them down. One thing the Steelers will have to coach out of him is his bad tendency to get grabby when he’s caught flat-footed, leading to costly penalties.
. CB. Ohio State
