When John Elway sees a player who can help his team win football games, he’ll go after him. With Peyton Manning likely done, the Denver Broncos are all about their defense, and in order to take advantage of it they have to build an offense that can control the ball and establish the run. For that Gary Kubiak needs a “stallion.” A workhorse he can feed on the ground 20-30 times a game.

There is no more qualified back in the country for that job than Ezekiel Elliott. The Ohio State star carried the Buckeyes to a national title in 2014. He’s tough, strong, faster than average with good hands and outstanding blocking skill. One of those types who is as good in the fourth quarter as he is in the first. A true closer who will put games away when his team is leading.
. RB. Ohio State. Ezekiel Elliott. 24. player. 45
