player. 46.
As a team the Indianapolis Colts had just 34 sacks in 2015. If anybody was looking for a primary reason as to why they consistently failed to close out games down the stretch, they can point to that stat. In truth they’ve been living on older free agents like Robert Mathis and Trent Cole at outside linebacker for too long. The time has come for them to make an honest investment at that critical position.

Leonard Floyd out of Georgia has flashed the rare ability to both rush the passer and drop into coverage as 3-4 linebackers must. He’s fast, athletic, quick and long with a solid countermove that has gotten him to the quarterback a number of times. His problem is simple mass. Floyd is rail thin across most of his body. To take on NFL tackles, he has to bulk up. If he does, those AFC South quarterback better get used to hearing his name.
. OLB. Georgia. Leonard Floyd. 22
