20. player. 30.
Todd Bowles has just about everything he could want on his New York Jets defense. A dominant defensive front. Steady tackling inside linebackers. Able cover corners and tough, physical safeties. One thing that is missing though is an outside linebacker who is a legitimate threat as a pass rusher. Thus far they haven’t been able to find one, even dating back to the Rex Ryan era.

So the team takes a calculated risk. Noah Spence has had well-documented problems off-the-field. Problems that got him kicked out at Ohio State and forced him to finish college at Eastern Kentucky. Since then though he’s remained clean and proceeded to dominate the competition. A true big fish in a small pond. He has that size-athleticism-quickness ratio to rush from a two-point stance and boasts legitimate capability to become a double digit sack producer. Provided of course he can stay out of trouble.
. OLB. Eastern Kentucky. Noah Spence
