Everybody in the world knows it’s coming. New Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson has made it clear from the beginning that the team is gunning for a quarterback in the draft, and they’re going to get one with the second-overall pick. Johnny Manziel was a disaster as many predicted he would be. Now it’s just a matter of finding out who is going to pick up the pieces of what he leaves behind.

When it comes to pro readiness among the top options, there is no doubt that Jared Goff of Cal is the most prepared. He’s shown a general poise and confidence from inside the pocket, can deliver passes at all levels with solid accuracy and is more athletic than he gets credit for. Sure, there are some areas of his game he’ll need to work on from a mechanical standpoint but that’s a challenge Jackson is more than qualified to take on.
. QB. Cal. Jared Goff. 2. player. 53
