CB. Clemson. Mackensie Alexander. 14. player. 28.
Jack Del Rio has his offensive core in place now. Derek Carr at quarterback, Amari Cooper at receiver and Latavius Murray at running back is a formidable trio that should be easy to build around. It frees up the defensive head coach to turn towards what he knows best, and good thing because the Oakland Raiders defense could use some serious work.

An area to start would be the secondary where both the corner and safety positions were undermanned most of 2015. D.J. Hayden looks like a bust, so GM Reggie McKenzie has to try again. This time he goes with a more proven commodity. Mackensie Alexander is still really young and a bit undersized but his natural coverage ability and relentless swagger are hard to ignore. Receivers hate him because he’s pesky and refuses to go away, even after they beat him, which isn’t often.
