Notre Dame. Ronnie Stanley. 7. player. 35. It couldn’t work out much better than this for the Tennessee Titans. The trade they pulled off with the 49ers has gotten them a wealth of extra picks to continue building at the roster while at the same time they’re able to secure one of the top prospects in the class at the position they most sorely need help.
Blocking was the big issue for the Titans in 2015, which is why quarterback Marcus Mariota didn’t finish the season. He needs better pass protection. Ronnie Stanley is one of two left tackle prospects who could plug and play right away. Size, power and length are part of his game as is solid technique. He’s not a bad athlete either. Pairing him with Taylor Lewan at the tackle spots could really improve matters up front.
.
