54. The reality is pretty clear for the Philadelphia Eagles. Initial rumors are quarterback Sam Bradford wishes to test the free agent market. That could leave the team with little in the way of answers at the position. New head coach Doug Pederson is no fool. He knows he can’t get his plan of the ground without a signal caller to built it around.
Scouts and experts will likely say this is too much of a reach, but it can often look that way with quarterbacks. Paxton Lynch has the talent for the NFL. There is no question of that. He’s 6’7″, throws a good fastball, and understands how to run a variety of different schemes and formations. He can also run. What he needs to polish are the fundamentals: ball placement, progressions and quick decision-making. All coachable.
.
