Alabama. A'Shawn Robinson. 19. player. 16. Like any defense, the scheme doesn’t matter. If the unit has a strong defensive line up front, the rest of the unit should have a much easier time getting stops and playing good football. Rex Ryan understands this better than anybody and he knows his front does not yet have the pieces needed to make his 3-4 system run like it should.

A’Shawn Robinson would be a massive step (literally and figuratively) in the right direction. He was one of the main cogs of that stout Alabama front that gave opponents fits all year. His size and outstanding power made it almost impossible to run the ball anywhere in near him. This of course forced offenses to throw and even then he wasn’t invisible, soaking up blockers in order for teammates to shine.
. DE
