No matter how hard they try, nothing teams say can avert the truth about the draft. Unless the class is absolutely terrible, quarterbacks always seem to rise to the top. It’s the nature of being the most important and sought-after position in the sport. Does this latest 2016 NFL mock draft hold true to that claim or are there other prospects grabbing the early spotlight?

player. 42. Chip Kelly has never been shy about the bold move, and having learned his lessons from Philadelphia, he’d likely seek out the first opportunity to go get a quarterback. So some will ask why the 49ers do it this way? Word has spread recently that Colin Kaepernick is not happy in San Francisco and desires a trade elsewhere, preferably to the New York Jets.
So the 49ers oblige. They swing a deal that gets them an extra 2nd round pick and they package that to move up to #1. Lastly comes why Carson Wentz over Jared Goff? Two reasons: arm strength and mobility. Wentz has the advantage in both categories. He can put the ball anywhere on the field with velocity and showcase the athleticism to pick up first downs with his legs. Kelly has yet to have that type of player under center in the NFL. So he makes sure his second chance gets started off right.
.
