Derrick Henry (RB, Alabama)

There may not be a better fit between a player and a team in the entire upcoming draft.  Dallas was undone to extent this past season because they lost the primary catalyst to their offensive success in DeMarco Murray.  He left via free agency to join the Philadelphia Eagles.  The Cowboys were forced to lean on veteran Darren McFadden with limited success.

Derrick Henry is the reigning Heisman trophy winner.  The giant 6’3″ running back became the marvel of college football as he railroaded one defense after another with his power, tenacity and sneaky acceleration once to the second level.  Alabama has tended to mask deficiencies in running backs before with their system.  This is not the case with him.  In the right offense, Henry can be a beast.

Dallas loves to run the ball downhill.  They have the physical, hard-working offensive line for it.  Putting Henry behind that front would change the entire landscape of a division, which doesn’t happen often.
