Adam Gase will be focused on improving things with the offense around Ryan Tannehill, but he’s no fool.  He understands that life will be made much easier for him if the defense is kept up to strength, especially in the secondary where they tended to struggle a lot. <p>Brent Grimes isn’t getting any younger and this team has no other dependable corner they can put on top receivers.  Hence the decision to select Mackensie Alexander.  The Clemson product carries himself like a shutdown corner and with good reason.  He’s a tremendous athlete who moves with ease going forward or back.  There is no absence of speed when he runs and he is able to stay glued to receivers without drawing too many penalties.</p>.
