Ronnie Stanley. 7. player. 42. After what happened in Philadelphia, Chip Kelly isn’t going to let poor offensive line blocking ruin what might be his last chance in the NFL. He has to ensure either Colin Kaepernick or Blaine Gabbert is protected in order to make sure they help him stick with the San Francisco 49ers. Fixing their porous right tackle position is a great way to start.
Ronnie Stanley is a stout left tackle for the Irish, boasting that size-athleticism combination that is needed for the pro level. His discipline and technique are also sound. The added bonus of a strong power base makes it viable for him to play any spot up front, including right tackle. Put him on the opposite end of Joe Staley and things are looking up for the Niners.
.
