Christian Hackenberg. 31. player. 10. There’s no getting around it. The Houston Texans are a quarterback away from serious contention in the AFC. Brian Hoyer is not their answer, so the draft has to be the place they find. Problem is all the ones worth taking at their spot were gone. So the logical step was to move back. The question then becomes, if they take one who would it be?
That becomes an easy decision. Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg is one of the most talented in the class, but he has flaws that haven’t been ironed out. Part of the reason for that is because Bill O’Brien left after just one season as his head coach. Well, O’Brien is now in charge of the Texans. A reunion could be mutually beneficial for both parties.
.
