At the end of the day the Cincinnati Bengals know where their bread is buttered.  When the defense is playing well, the team usually wins a lot of football games.  The defense plays well when the defensive line plays well.  It’s a common trickledown effect, especially in the 4-3 scheme. <p>Domata Peko is aging and declined in production for them, so finding a new defensive tackle to plug alongside Geno Atkins could be of great benefit.  Andrew Billings is perfect in so many ways.  He has that natural leverage to get under blockers but also an excellent power base which makes it difficult to move him.  That makes for a good nose tackle, which is what Peko plays.  It’s an obvious fit.</p>.
