Ohio State. Taylor Decker. 18. player. 46. Why did the Indianapolis Colts wilt in the face of Super Bowl expectations? There are a number of reasons but the biggest of all was the inability to keep their prized quarterback Andrew Luck protected from harm. Their offensive line is still undermanned and sorely needs help.
Having gotten solid production out of another Ohio State lineman in Jack Mewhort, there is no shame in going to the well again. This time they grab left tackle Taylor Decker. Big, a strong run blocker and functional in pass protection, he has the required tools to face NFL caliber pass rushers. His limited athleticism though makes a move to the right side more likely.
.
