Pass protection was a major reason Matthew Stafford struggled at times in 2015 and why the Detroit Lions got off to such a poor start and couldn’t recover.  Some serious retooling is needed along their offensive line.  Topping the list is finding a way to switch Riley Reiff from left tackle to right, where he’s a much better fit. <p>At first the selection of Jason Spriggs might catch some by suprise, but it shouldn’t.  The Indiana product is a nature left tackle.  His movement skills reflect good athleticism.  He mirrors pass rushers well and regains control even when initially knocked off his stance.  There are some strength issues to work on, but if protecting Stafford is priority, he’s the  right pick.</p>.
