A lot of changes could be coming for the Oakland Raiders defense in 2016 as they prepare for what is undoubtedly a playoff push. No question the area that needs the most attention is the secondary, what with Charles Woodson done and the cornerbacks not pulling their weight most of this past season.
So Jack Del Rio and his staff look to get some help early. Eli Apple is another of those coveted corner types who boast a mixture of size and strength with enough athleticism to match receivers in press coverage. He still has some problems with grabbing too much, leading to costly penalties but it’s a coachable issue. Talent-wise this is an easy pick for a big team need.
.
