The Oakland Raiders found out something important in 2015.  Derek Carr is really good.  He matured so well as a quarterback and it’s clear their future is centered around his continued success.  That means weapons and above all preserving his health.  Key to that lay in pass protection, which means the team can’t afford let their offensive line slacken. <p>Jack Conklin won’t draw as much attention during the predraft process because he’s not the flashy athlete scouts love to pinpoint.  No, the strength of his game comes from experience, work ethic, tenacity and a polished game centered on discipline and strength.  He has the functional mobility to play left tackle but probably will be a better fit on the right side.  That should suit the Raiders’ needs just fine.</p>.
