Cardinals-Packers: The Arizona Cardinals are moving on to the NFC Championship game after defeating the Green Bay Packers in one of the most unbelievable games of the season…

It was a game for the ages. If you thought you were dreaming, think again.

This. All. Happened.

This is the most hilariously exciting, riveting, and mind-numbing football game that I can remember being played this season, college or pro. The last time I was this shell-shocked by a series of events in a football game, this happened:

Let’s start with the first in a series of events that took place over the course of about 20 seconds of actual gameplay, Aaron Rodgers’ incredible Hail Mary 2.0…

There is so much going on with this play that is beyond reasonable explanation, I don’t even know where to begin. First of all, I love the idea by the Cardinals to send additional pressure, but they do so at the risk of additional coverage at the back end of this play.

You can see how that turned out for them.

Rodgers is forced to go to his left, which is not ideal in the first place. He’s then forced to throw the ball almost 50 yards into the end zone with enough height on the ball that he can give his receiver a chance. To top it off, he’s basically falling to the ground off of his back foot, and yet, the throw gets downfield where Jeff Janis can make a play.

Unbelievable.

It was so good, Kris Collinsworth was growling during the replays.

After Mason Crosby nailed the extra point, we were off to overtime…which shouldn’t have been that complicated.

You couldn’t have made this stuff up. This game wouldn’t have been as bizarre or fictional in Hollywood as it actually went down last night. The official didn’t actually flip the coin, so he picked it up and successfully attempted a flip on the second try.

The Cardinals got the ball, and this was the first play from scrimmage. Again, you can’t script this kind of stuff.

This was absolutely incredible. What happened to the Packers’ defense here? If Larry Fitzgerald runs over to the sideline — no. If he runs to the LOCKER ROOM — you send someone to follow him there.

IT’S LARRY FITZGERALD.

Fitz does what he does best, which is apparently to play football in the playoffs. It’s just a shame he hasn’t been able to get there more frequently.

One thing is certain — he’ll never regret the effort he made in the attempts at a Super Bowl he was given, and as Al Michaels stated last night, his performance against the Packers was one for the ages.

After an attempt to hit Fitzgerald on a fade, Bruce Arians called this play, which worked to perfection…

I can’t even…

All I can say is, this is why we love football.
