No matter what scheme this new coach brings in with Philadelphia they will need a defensive end or some type of pass rusher. Cedric Thornton will become a free agent and looks to be gone for next season. The Eagles for some reason dislike Vinny Curry so he may be gone as well next year. Noah Spence is the former Ohio State linebacker who was kicked off the football team due to failed drug tests which landed him in Eastern Kentucky.

Spence was a potential top-ten pick before getting kicked out of Ohio State and would be a top pick this year if still in Columbus. He is one of the most talented defensive players in this years draft and if the Eagles want to take a chance and draft him they could be rewarded in a monumental way.

Spence is expected to go off the board in the back-end of the first round but his talent indicates he is worthy of this selection. The Eagles have shown they are very good when handling players with “red flags” and getting the most of that players talent. He can fit any scheme and become a deadly pass rusher in the NFL if a team gives him a chance to do so. By draft day this pick may not be a reach because the talent will showcase itself and someone will select him. If the Eagles want an immediate producer, Spence will provide that and potentially much more for years.
