Byron Maxwell has proved to be one of the worst free agent signings in all of football last offseason but there is still hope in my eyes that he can produce if in the right defensive scheme. Eric Rowe actually played really well towards the end of the season, but he is a safety and I believe he should be moved to his right position. Nolan Carroll is also very below average and is a free agent so in steps stud Clemson cornerback Mackensie Alexander. The Eagles are missing an attitude on the secondary like they use to have during their glory years of the 2000s. Alexander is a shut down cornerback who is staring on one of the best defenses in all of College Football.

Alexander is 5’11 185 lbs and has the lockdown All-Pro potential in my opinion. He has never recorded an interception in two years starting at Clemson, simply because nobody throws towards his way. Alexander also possess an attitude and belief that he is the best player on the field, something this Eagles defense has been lacking for years since Brian Dawkins left for Denver. Adding Alexander would mean that Philadelphia is bringing in a day one starter who should provide much-needed secondary help to a team that was the 28th best pass defense in the NFL.
