When Marcus Mariota was selected by the Titans with the second overall pick, it gave hope to a franchise in desperate need of a spark. After a dominating re-match in Week 1 between Mariota and Winston, one where the Titans defeated the Bucs 42-14 and Mariota tossed for four touchdowns, it seemed the Titans were on their way upward to a brighter season. Unfortunately, the Titans would drop 8 of their next 10 and while Mariota still showed he was capable of being the future of this team, their eye starting focusing toward 2016. It is widely believed Tennessee will have the first overall pick in the draft. To maximize their talent and make a run in the AFC’s weakest division, Tennessee will need to build around their young quarterback.
