Alabama is in another SEC Championship game. If you could only see my surprised face right now. Yes, that was sarcasm. Another year, another Alabama team in the SEC Title Game.

Real shocker there right?

This year is something different though for sure. There is no undefeated season, no top quarterback or top receiver. Still the same old Nick Saban. It’s not just the defense. This year there is something truly special, and I only need two words to describe it:

Derrick.

Henry.

This is a man amongst boys right now. A 240 pound monster, he has scored 22 touchdowns this year, and his last five games is averaging over 200 yards per game. He is on another planet at this point, and all anyone can do is simply just hunker down and hope he doesn’t wreck them TOO badly.

That is what the Florida Gators are going to be doing this week. They have had a much better year than anyone thought ahead of time, but this is going to be a whole new type of challenge. They too have a running back worth paying to see by the name of Kelvin Taylor, son of Florida great Fred Taylor.

The best method at this point for Florida to have a snowball’s chance at winning is get Taylor running hard and brace for impact from Derrick Henry.

If you have read anything from me before, you know I have a slight bias towards running backs, but I can assure you this is not one of those times. Henry is the real deal. This is a man who will not be deprived of the end zone, and will do anything he has to in order to get his team a win.

I don’t realistically see this game being all too close. This will be a game that is kept on the ground, running back vs running back. Who has the best rush defense between the two, and I think we all know the answer to that one.

My prediction: Alabama 38 Florida 17
