NFL Draft expert Mike Mayock finally gets himself a Twitter

NFL Network’s beloved Mike Mayock has finally ended his boycott of social media, and is now a member of Twitter.

Well NFL Draft fans, it’s apparently official. Mike Mayock has a Twitter, and we know it’s not a joke.

Why is this worthy of a full post, and why am I letting you konw? Because Mike Mayock is probably the best in our business. He’s such a great evaluator of talent, communicator, and his name has become synonymous with the NFL Draft.

The fact that it’s nearly the end of 2015 and he’s just now getting a Twitter account goes to show how much clout he has at NFL Network, that they somehow didn’t force him to have one until this point, but it’s been a long time coming and now we’ll be able to see his thoughts about prospects and situations that we otherwise would have to wait for his television air time to hear.

Like, where would we be without these two tweets in our lives?

It’s just…what a time to be alive, folks. What a time, indeed.

With Mayock on Twitter, draft fans have unlimited access to the best mind in the industry. Mel Kiper Jr. is of course the Godfather of the NFL Draft coverage we know and love today, but Mayock is the lord over it all these days, at least if you ask me. Having a presence on social media now makes him the unquestioned go-to source for all NFL Draft/scouting knowledge.
