Ronald Darby, CB, Bills (2nd round, 50th overall)

If you’re looking for the most impressive rookie defensively so far this season, it’s been former Florida State star Ronald Darby, who has emerged as one of the better cornerbacks in the league this season — forget the rookie label.

Darby’s 14 pass breakups are best in the NFL so far this season. Not bad considering the Buffalo Bills didn’t have a first round pick, eh? This guy is an absolute stud, and not just in coverage — he has 30 tackles so far this season, tied for 2nd among Bills defenders.
