Mitch Morse, C, Chiefs (2nd round, 49th overall)

One thing the Kansas City Chiefs absolutely needed from this offseason was to find a way to replace the top free agent lineman in Rodney Hudson who bolted for the Oakland Raiders. It seems as though they have done at least that much with the addition of second round pick Mitch Morse.

Morse has shown veteran skills already at the center position, and while like everyone else on this list it hasn’t been perfect, Morse appears to be a lynchpin of this line for the future and a player who can do great things in space. He had a reputation coming out of Missouri for being able to play all over the line, but he’s got a safe home there at center.
