Jordan Hicks, LB, Eagles (3rd round, 84th overall) Our resident Eagles experts here at NFL Mocks were incredibly disappointed to learn that linebacker Jordan Hicks would miss the rest of the season with a torn pectoral injury, because he had emerged as one of the young star players on that Philadelphia defense. They even felt as though he was rookie of the year worthy. That’s pretty hard to argue when he’s filling up stat sheets and making plays like this:

Hicks ended his rookie season with 50 tackles, a sack, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), a forced fumble, three fumbles recovered, and a partridge in a pear tree. The Eagles made a big play this offseason to get Kiko Alonso from the Bills in exchange for LeSean McCoy, but it was the drafting of Jordan Hicks that proved to be the biggest move they made at the linebacker position this offseason.

This guy is a stud.
