Amari Cooper, WR, Raiders (1st round, 4th overall)
What can be said about how good Amari Cooper is? Derek Carr said it best, and I’ll paraphrase: Cooper is already one of the best receivers in the NFL right now, but he’s not getting that respect because he’s only been doing it for half a season.
If you want a possession receiver, a big play receiver, a red zone threat, a monster after the catch — anything at all — Cooper has been the guy for the Raiders this year. He’s on pace for over 1,000 yards receiving and has four touchdowns through the team’s first nine games.
We all saw before the draft just how good Cooper was capable of being, and it’s translated to the NFL game immediately.
