Must Starts
Todd Gurley vs. Cleveland ($6,200): This is the best match up of all the Running Backs this week. Gurley continues to be a cheap option in whatever daily fantasy site you use. The Browns allow the third most points per game to RBs and with a team that is struggling to pass the ball effectively we are sure to see a lot of Gurley. He is likely to be owned by a lot of people in tournaments but roll with Gurley as he is too good to pass up this week.
Lamar Miller vs. Houston ($5,650): Miller has been a huge disappointment this year for season long fantasy owners but he is trending in the right direction. New Dolphins Head Coach Dan Campbell wants to run the football and showed that last week. Miller ran for 113 yards, one touchdown against the Titans and now has a favorable match up against a poor Houston run defense. The Texans allow 20 fantasy points per game to RBs so expect Miller to have a great game as a cheaper option this week.
Bust
Chris Ivory vs. New England ($6,800): The Jets are going to have to pass the ball to win this game. Ivory is facing a tough Patriots run defense and if the Patriots get ahead quick they will use less of Ivory. Jets do not use him in the passing game so his value decreases tremendously if they are facing a deficit. He is too much of a risk this week so I am staying away from Ivory this week.
Sleeper
Theo Riddick vs. Minnesota ($4,300): The Lions backfield is plagued with injuries, Bell can not stay healthy and Zach Zenner is out for the year. Amer Abdullah can not stop fumbling and is in the doghouse which leaves Riddick as the main option in Detroit. Riddick is valuable with PPR points and now has the chance to get extra carries this week. He is very cheap on most DFS sites so if you are looking for a cheap option at the RB or Flex spot this week Riddick is your guy.
