AP Top 25: Iowa creeps into Top 10, Clemson moves to #3
The Iowa Hawkeyes have quietly moved into the Top 10 of the AP Top 25 poll with a loud win against previously ranked Northwestern this weekend. C.J. Beatherd has led the Hawkeyes this season at QB with over 1400 yards passing and a 3:1 touchdown to interception ratio. The Hawkeyes have a matchup against Maryland next week then head to Indiana. Speaking of quiet Oklahoma State is also gaining on the pack with a #12 ranking and an undefeated season. The Cowboys had an emotional win over Kansas after tragedy struck earlier in the day.

Ohio State and Baylor remain as No. 1 and No. 2, however with Baylor losing Seth Russell for a period of time it’s going to be interesting to see how this team responds behind freshman Jarrett Stidham. The Buckeyes finally looked like a team that won the National Championship yesterday with a 49-7 win against Rutgers.
J.T. Barrett replaced Cardale Jones at QB and the decision was an electrifying win for Ohio State. The Buckeyes still have two more games until they face Michigan State but they’re back to looking like the number one ranked team in the country.
Clemson moved up to No. 3 after an absolute throttling of a once proud Miami football team. The Tigers have put themselves in position to be in the College Football Playoffs at the end of the year and behind Shaq Lawson and Deshaun Watson the Tigers look like the team to beat in the ACC this year.
Paxton Lynch continues to push an undefeated Memphis team into the rankings but they’ll need some help from other teams if they want to make a run in the top 10.
