This game will be a critical one in how the Big 10 East is decided. Penn State will be looking to deal the Buckeye’s their first loss, which is entirely possible with Ohio State constantly coming out slow and playing down to their opponents. A Nittany Lions victory would spell big shifts in the division standings, especially depending on the Michigan/Michigan State game.

I think both quarterbacks will impress, but Hackenberg steps up and delivers once again in a very close game. I think Ohio State will have a tough time getting the run game going, so Michael Thomas and Braxton Miller will get some major catches.

Call it fan bias, but I’m really feeling a close game and a big-time upset for the 5-1 Penn State squad. I think guys like Zettel and Nassib will be able to get to Jones in the backfield and throw off his game early on.

My final score prediction will be 30-27 Penn State after a late touchdown by Hackenberg seals the victory.
