Both teams have first round talent on defense, exclusively on the defensive line. Joey Bosa is in contention for the first overall pick, but that may change depending on which team lands the first overall pick. While his numbers haven’t matched last seasons, his presence and talent coming off the edge will make a major impact in this game. In the secondary Eli Apple and Von Bell will be reeking havoc and disrupting the Penn State receivers all night long.

As for Penn State, they have the nations sack leader on their side in Carl Nassib. A former walk on, Nassib has turned into a monster in every aspect of the game. In six games, he has 10 sacks, an interception, a pass deflection, and five forced fumbles. A man of many tools for the Nittany Lions.

While his status as a first round pick hasn’t been cemented, defensive tackle Anthony Zettel as done all but so. He’s a major cog in both the run defense and pass-rush for Penn State and can anchor the middle of the line next to another stud in Austin Johnson.
