In a battle of two Big 10 rivals, Penn State heads into the Horseshoe to take on No.1 ranked Ohio State. After a thrilling, yet disappointing double-overtime loss at home last season, Penn State is looking to reclaim its spot in one of the greatest rivalries in college football.
As someone who’s been to one of these games and has sat in (the countries best) student section, I can tell you there’s nothing like a Penn State/Ohio State game. There’s so much mutual hatred between the students, players and programs, the level of intensity for this game is truly unmatched.
What makes the game even more interesting is that there will be more NFL scouts at this game than ever before. A reported 16 teams will be sending scouts to this game to catch a glimpse of anywhere from 5-7 first round picks. Outside of the first round, there could possibly be around 10 more players in this game what are worthy of an NFL draft pick
Let’s take a look at some of the key players and match-ups to watch for when Ohio State takes on Penn State Saturday night.
