Stacy Coley (WR – Miami) vs. Florida State

Despite remaining undefeated, Florida State has actually been sliding in the polls. Now ranked twelfth in the AP poll, the Seminoles will host the Miami Hurricanes this weekend. The matchup to watch in this one will be on the outside when WR Stacy Coley lines up across from CB Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey could be the first cornerback off the board in the 2016 NFL Draft, and this game will have an affect. Coley has excellent speed and could run away from the star defensive back if given a free release. If the Hurricanes have any chance to win this game, that’s exactly what has to happen.

Coley missed the team’s previous game due to a hamstring injury, but with nine days between games, he’s expected to start versus the Seminoles. He only has two receptions on the season, both coming in the season opener against Bethune-Cookman. In order for him to get back on the radar of NFL teams, Coley must come up big this weekend.

Coley played well early in this game last season before Florida State made a comeback. If Miami is going to avoid a second-half collapse and hold off the Seminoles, Coley will need to play a significant role throughout.
