#25 Josh Harvey-Clemons, Safety, Louisville (6’5, 230 lbs)

Strengths: Harvey-Clemons has incredible length for a safety, he measures in at around 6’5. At safety he uses his length to get up and high point the football and makes it nearly impossible for WRs to get over top of him on jump balls. He is a freak of an athlete who should blow up at the combine. Harvey-Clemons is a versatile football player who can play deep or play closer to the line of scrimmage. He may not even play safety in the NFL, if he bulks up he would probably be moved to OLB. He is a solid tackler which makes a switch to OLB even more logical.  The cover skills are not perfect but they are not a flaw, he is an average man cover safety who is best suited in a zone defense.

Weaknesses: He does not have elite safety speed. Covering skills will need to be worked on a little more. Was kicked off the Georgia football team which led him to transfer to Louisville. His evaluation is going to be an interesting one because of his size and lack of elite safety speed. Different teams will have different roles for him.
