Best Projected Option: Connor Cook (Michigan State)
The later it gets into the 1st round of a draft, the more of an uncertainty the quarterbacks become. One could easily get a Teddy Bridgewater or an E.J. Manuel. It really can be a roll of the dice. All look like they have the ability, but only a chosen few have what’s needed between the ears.
As of right now Connor Cook is a fluctuating prospect. Based on winning, production and talent he is 1st round material easy. Yet ongoing problems with his mechanic, poor decision-making and spotty accuracy are scaring a lot of people away. This despite a long history of clutch performance at Michigan State.
It comes down to how much the Bears would trust offensive coordinator Adam Gase to fix the problems.
