The first month of the college football season is now in the books. After the season began with four-time defending FCS champion North Dakota State losing to Montana, it was clear that this would be a memorable year.

There have been some early disappointments, such as Auburn and Georgia Tech both losing two games already. Ohio State is still undefeated, although the Buckeyes haven’t been as dominant as expected. Much of the blame, at least in the cases of Auburn and Ohio State, has been placed on the quarterbacks. Jeremy Johnson and Cardale Jones entered the season as potential early-round NFL Draft picks, however both have struggled.

On the bright side, UCLA and TCU have overcome several injuries to defensive starters to remain unbeaten. Utah earned a first-place vote in the Associated Press poll after decimating Oregon. The SEC is led by superstar sophomores such as Kyle Allen and Myles Garrett of Texas A&M, Leonard Fournette of LSU and Nick Chubb of Georgia. All four figure to be off the board early in the 2017 or 2018 NFL Drafts.

With conference play dominating the next two months, there will plenty of changes, not just in the rankings, but on draft boards across the country. These next two months could determine whether or not a senior is drafted, or if a junior or redshirt sophomore declares for the NFL Draft. Stocks will go up and down between now and draft day, but these are the prospects whose stock is on the move after Week 4.
