Welcome to week three of the college football season Mocks Fans! It has been a wild first two weeks, that’s for sure. In the Weekly Rant I brought up the BYU Miracle Plays of weeks one and two.

Wow. What else is there to say?

Seriously?

Two weeks in a row?!

I could harp on that all day, but we aren’t here just to talk about BYU. We have an entire country full of teams we could talk about! Okay, we aren’t going to talk about the entire country, let’s get real. But, there is still plenty to discuss for the upcoming week.

The SEC has not been looking as sharp as they usually do, and every conference is licking their chops. I know what you’re thinking: what the hell is this guy smoking? How does the SEC look weak? Well, Arkansas losing to Toledo is not a good start. Former power house South Carolina lost to Kentucky. Yes, Kentucky is an SEC team, I know that. But they have been weak for quite some time.

Now here at NFL Mocks, we are fans. Plain and simple. I’m a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan, I’m sure we all know that by now. But that is not how I pick the games that we all pick. I try picking what should be the best games of the week. The ones that are hard to choose a winner for. Last week I tried doing that and I finally missed one pick. (If you didn’t get to see week two of the Staff Predictions, refer back to the Weekly Rant. I included it in there this past week).

For those of you just joining us, I’ll give you a brief breakdown of the rules. I pick out five or six games for college football that I rule to be the best games of the week. Not just ranked teams, just the best games of the week.

I ask my team of writers to all make their picks, and if they should have an upset pick of the week they are welcome to list it. I keep track of how many we all get right and wrong for the course of the season and we all brag to each other as to who is the top dawg. See what I did there? “Dawg”? I can say that now because I’m in first place!

I’m probably going to eat those words, but whatever.

Okay, enough dilly dallying, let’s make some predictions!

First, let’s list out the records so far.

Alright, best of luck boys! Now prepare to watch my lead grow!
