Cal QB Jared Goff showing #1 pick stuff against Texas
There has been a lot of talk this season about which of the quarterbacks around the country has the best chance of being the top overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and Cal Bears QB Jared Goff is certainly making a strong case.
Goff has looked awesome against Texas and is making ridiculous plays like this…
"If you haven’t seen Jared Goff play, get to @FOXTV NOW. #CALvsTEXAS https://t.co/64ZlIb8HAt— FOX Sports (@FOXSports) September 20, 2015"
But that’s not all…
As great as Goff is playing, the guy who is probably opening the most eyes right now is Kenny Lawler, the guy catching these passes. Lawyer has made some incredible catches in this game, including the touchdown you just saw where he had to adjust his body to catch a perfectly thrown ball by Goff.
People are really hyped up for Goff right now, and he’s proving everyone right. There were questions going into this season whether or not he would even be in the discussion with players like Christian Hackenberg and Connor Cook, and so far, it’s clear that Goff is at the head of the class.
Through the first two games of the season, he had completed over 73 percent of his passes and in this game, he’s been very efficient with the football, carving up the Texas secondary. He’s attracting plenty of attention around the Twittersphere…
Everyone loves Jared Goff right now. He’s hotter than Hansel in ‘Zoolander’. He’s so hot right now.
