Kyle Emanuel may be one of the top draft steals
One of the big reasons the San Diego Chargers were able to pull off the big comeback over Detroit was getting some big plays from their defense. At the heart of the effort was outside linebacker Kyle Emanuel, a seldom known 5th round pick out of FCS powerhouse North Dakota State.
Though considered a small school, Emanuel was actually projected by some to go as early as the 3rd round. It didn’t take him long to show why as he hounded the Lions with three tackles, a sack and a big interception in the second half to kill a drive. If this is what they got from his first ever game, then it’s safe to say the Bolts may have gotten a steal.
