NFL Team Predictions: The Kansas City Chiefs

Biggest Disappointment:  Dee Ford

His predraft workouts were some of the best of the 2014 draft class and he seems like an ideal fit for the Chiefs defense but for whatever reason second-year linebacker Dee Ford continues to struggle finding a niche.  He failed to record a sack in preseason and came out with negative pass rush and run defense ratings from Pro Football Focus.

In a year that should feature the biggest jump for a player in terms of ability and production, it’s growing more and more evident that Ford may not be the player Kansas City had hoped when they spent a 1st round pick on him.  Maybe that’s jumping the gun too soon, but be prepared for him to earn the bust label this year.
