Big 10

Shawn Spencer: Ezekiel Elliott, RB (Ohio State) – The primary topic of discussion when it comes to Ohio State is the QB situation, but it was the running game that set up the big plays through the air. With an experienced offensive line and a passing attack to keep defenses honest, Elliott could become just the second RB to win the award since 1999.

Tyler Morales: Corey Clement, RB (Wisconsin) – The Wisconsin offensive line is notorious for making running backs look better than they actually are but Clement is as talented of a runner as Wisconsin has ever had. Clement has the chance to put up insane numbers behind that line. Clement is going to have multiple 200+ yard games this year and could even challenge the record for most rushing yards in a game.

George Stockburger: Ezekiel Elliot, RB (Ohio State) – Ezekiel Elliot is clearly the best running back in college football entering the season opener. While running backs aren’t usually favored for the Heisman, Elliot is not your typical college running back. Barring any injuries, he should be a mid-first round pick in 2016.

Jonah Tuls: Ezekiel Elliott, RB (Ohio State) – The best running back in college football on the best team. Elliott may be even a better prospect than Todd Gurley when it’s all said and done. Easy Heisman candidate.

Matthew Holowiak: Ezekiel Elliott, RB (Ohio State) – Ezekial Elliott made a monster of a splash last season and I think he’s only going to get better. One national title down, one more to go for this superstar.

Ryan Coon: Eziekiel Elliott, RB (Ohio State) –  a product of my hometown, Elliott is a superstar already. He will battle Chubb for best RB in the nation this season. He ended 2014 on a high note rushing for over 800 yards and 10 TDs in last four games. Ohio State is stacked and Elliott will benefit from the All Star cast around him. The sky is the limit for this kid.

Sayre Bedinger: Eziekiel Elliott, RB (Ohio State) – No running back impressed me more at the end of last year than Elliott of the National Champion Buckeyes. He has incredible vision, power, and the ability to make you miss in the open field. Ohio State has too many QBs for me to pick one as a Heisman candidate. I think Elliott is going to be dominant.
