Biggest Disappointment: Darren McFadden
It’s not a surprise the Cowboys ended up going with Darren McFadden as their starter. He has similar skill set to the departed DeMarco Murray (along with the same initials), is bigger and also boasts more experience than Joseph Randle. History shows that when he actually gets blocking he can be a deadly downhill runner.

However, his history also shows a constant, nagging problem with injuries. Last season was the first time he made through a full 16-game schedule and that was largely because he wasn’t the starter in Oakland. Even if Randle takes on some of the carries, is it really reasonable to expect McFadden’s body can hold up to the pounding?
Doubtful.
