Expectations are the highest they’ve been in seven or eight years for the Dallas Cowboys heading into the 2015 season. Their roster seems strong enough to make another run at the division and perhaps finish what they started in the playoffs last season. What do the NFL team predictions say about their chances?
Offensive MVP: Tony Romo
With DeMarco Murray gone, the source of offensive success will shift back to Tony Romo. Granted, he still had a huge impact in 2014 but the team wanted to be more of a run-first approach and that made Murray the MVP. This year won’t be different in terms of that approach, but it will be in personnel.
There is little guarantee that Dallas has enough to replace the production Murray brought to the table. That means the burden could be place back on Romo, who is the leader and most experienced star they have. His arsenal of weapons are as strong as ever with Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley. This team will succeed or fail on that right arm.
