Buffalo Bills

Ronald Darby could make a great defense even better

The front seven of the Buffalo Bills is among the best in the NFL, spearheaded by a ferocious front including Mario Williams, Kyle Williams and Marcel Dareus.  They helped the team lead the league in sacks with 54 last season.  One thing that was lacking though was turnovers.   Despite so much pressure the secondary seemed unable to take the ball away often enough.  That was a big reason why the team scooped up cornerback Ronald Darby in the 2nd round.  Overlooked somewhat for his 5’11” size, he still rated as one of the most consistent cover men in the draft.

He’s proven why in the preseason thus far with four passes defended and two interceptions.  Pairing him with Stephon Gilmore and Leodis McKelvin stands to give the Bills that ball hawk dimension the defense is looking for.
