Just a few months into defensive lineman Mario Edwards’ career, Oakland fans can be seen on Twitter bashing him and throwing out the too often used ‘b’ word. While it’s a bit early to label a guy a bust, the skeptics on Edwards have valid points.

There were many questions as he entered the 2015 NFL Draft, especially regarding his draft stock. Mixed opinions were evident across the board, and those who question his game got a peek of his struggles during the first exhibition matchup.

Certainly a prime player to watch as camp rolls on. Luckily for Edwards, there’s not too much competition behind Justin Tuck and Khalil Mack for the 4-3 DE spot. He’ll have his opportunities to play — it’s up to him to keep his play above average.
